1. Longer Burn Time

Wax melts absorb heat slower than traditional candles, allowing them to release scent in a longer and steady time frame, all without burning the oil. The opposite happens when you light a candle. The heat of the candle flame keeps the wax at a higher temperature, allowing the scent to diffuse more quickly into the air.

2. More Affordable Than Candles

Wax melts are more affordable than candles because they come in smaller sizes and give you longer fragrance for the same amount spent. The fragrance load per gram of wax melts is up to almost 1.5x longer than traditional candles. For example: Pristine 85g candles can burn up to 20 hours. 3. Scents Can Be Controlled & Altered

For candles purchased off the shelf, you cannot alter the wax volume nor the fragrance intensity. Wax melts on the other hand come in small pieces so you control the fragrance intensity/duration by increasing/decreasing the number of wax cubes used. You can mix it up and even burn and mix different waxes together to create an entirely unique fragrance of your own.

4. Its Safer

If you do a quick Google search, you can find that candle burning accounts for a huge portion of fire related accidents in homes. Traditional candles burn with an open flame. While ceramic burners with wax melt still require flame, its wick is safely burning beneath the wax disc which makes it much, much safer. If you have electric warmers, it’s even better because you do not need a flame at all.
